Prue Ward
Prue is a Creative Learning and Wellbeing Producer for Cambridgeshire Music, as well as an accomplished violinist and pianist. With 20 years of teaching experience, she has a deep understanding of music education and a commitment to helping every student learn to a high standard while enjoying a broad, varied musical experience.
Through Cambridgeshire Music, Prue also runs the Cambridge Folk Festival Summer Course, creating an inspiring and inclusive space for young musicians to develop their skills, confidence and love of folk music.
Classically trained at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, Prue has expanded her musical world through folk and contemporary performance. She has toured throughout the UK and parts of Europe with bands including The Willows and Fred’s House, and particularly enjoys bringing different genres together.
